Medal.  He was an Airplane Maintenance Chief with the 357th Bombardment
Squadron.  He was a Master Sergeant upon leaving the service.  Served 6
years in the U. S. Army Air Corp, 7 years with the U. S. Air Force Reserves, 1
year active duty during the Korean War (August 1950-September 1951), 26
years Federal USAF Civil Service, 33+ years of Federal Service (1939-1973),
21 years as a volunteer at the USAF Museum (1982-present), and served 5
years on B29s, B50s, and B36s.
